There is really nothing better for looking at the details of mountings of works of art on paper.

2016 Update: “You spoke to my wife at the quilting expo last weekend. It reminded me to let you know how much I value your telescopes. I’m not sure how long I’ve had them: a decade? longer? I use them regularly, because there is really nothing better for looking at the details of mountings of works of art on paper. They let me see into narrow spaces clearly—a crucial first step in deciding whether a mounting needs to be replaced—and decide how to go about replacing it.”
