Jeff gives you a brief summary of CraftOptics products and how they work. For a more detailed discussion, see the video “All about CraftOptics Magnifying Eyeglasses & DreamBeam Light”.
CraftOptics are designed to include in the frame the correction you normally wear. The magnifiers work WITH your correction, they are not a substitute for it. Your prescription or reader is installed in our CraftOptics titanium frames. Jeff explains:
Jeff explains how your CraftOptics will last a lifetime. If your prescription or reading correction changes, you can simply have the new correction installed in your frames.
For those who wear progressive lenses, bifocals or trifocals, Jeff explains how your prescription (or readers) can be installed in your CraftOptics. For all options, we always install your near correction or reader in the bottom of the frame.
Here are the choices for the upper part of your frame:
Please indicate option 1, 2 or 3 in the notes section of your order.
In this video, Jeff explains the two main choices people make for readers installed in their CraftOptics frames:
Each option is presented during checkout in a dropdown menu.
CraftOptics has three working distance options that will help you see your detail work from a comfortable posture, eliminating back and neck pain, and the “hunch” that so many of us do.
Short: 12-14″ Best for work on elevated surfaces: benchtop jewelry, fine scale modeling, etc. If you are used to holding your work close and prefer to work that way, select this distance.Regular: 14-16″ Best for tabletop and a wide variety of similar position activities: beadwork, quilting, needlework, etc. This is the most common selection. Long: 16-18″ Best for long-arm quilting and longer distance work. If you are concerned about your posture and hold your work further away, select this range.
Use your FSA/HSA, PayPal Credit (6 months interest free), Affirm, Care Credit or any major credit card. Jeff runs through the options.
This short video will show you how to get everything set up and get started with your CraftOptics!
Be sure to attach your DreamBeam light properly. It all starts by making sure it is snapped onto the hinge between the magnifying telescopes and not onto the PD knob, and putting the light wire behind you by clipping it to the eyeglass retainer strap that is included with your CraftOptics.
There’s no getting around the fact that CraftOptics will be heavier than your regular eyeglasses. However, we think you will be very surprised at how light they are, especially when compared to common items we’re sure you will recognize. Check out this video – we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
You’ve done all your research and now you’re ready. In this video, Jeff explains the easy steps to placing your order.
Remember, you can always call us at 888 444 7728 if you prefer to order over the phone or have questions. Also, you don’t need to have your prescription on-hand to place your order. During checkout, you will have the option to either email it after the order process or have us contact your optometrist to get it for you!
Your questions are answered in this thorough (that means a bit long) video description of how CraftOptics will help you magnify and light your creative projects. Jeff walks you through our product line and discusses prescriptions, working distances, the DreamBeam Light and most other common questions people have about CraftOptics.
